Got A Girl Crush Magazine — Issue # 1
I just spent the better chunk of my morning digitally flipping through the first-ever magazine and I am totally floored/inspired/laughing out loud/in love with all of it. This beautifully designed magazine was put together by Andrea Cheng and Meg Wachter who run. The magazine is a physical and digital extension of the idea to celebrate girls doing cool shit. An idea that I personally champion and get really really excited about.
This issue is nothing like your typical blog-turned-etsy-zine, it’s got legit interviews with the likes of: Anne Marsen • Carolyn Pennypacker Riggs • Frankie Rose • Jeana Sohn • Jenny Slate • Kristen Wentrcek • Lisa Congdon • Lola Camacho Micu • Michelle Tarantelli • Serena Mitnik-Miller. Featuring a wide range of ladies doing all sorts of incredible things- from comedy, to art, to music to cooking. I have no idea how they got some of those interviews but I’m totally impressed with the simplicity and professionalism. Great job, ladies!
If you like girls, and furthermore, like it when they do cool stuff- you’re going to want to this magazine.
