When came through San Diego and played the La Jolla MCASD, I was talking to my friend Zack who hit them up to play in his living room. Now, normally bands who play in fancy art galleries in La Jolla wouldn’t necessarily say yes to such a request- but it was Zack, and it’s the , so of course they took him up on the offer. That meant that I had two back-to-back days of Dark Dark Dark. Despite the ambience of their theatrical performance, I much preferred the intimate vibe of their set in Zack’s living room. My buddy filmed it all, so y’know what I mean about the living room. Awesome.
