The first time I heard ‘s track ‘buildings’ I thought, gee- this must be the coolest guy in the universe. And although we’ve never met, I’m sticking to my theory, according to this amazing mixtape he sent over for the series. For those of you who don’t know its you-know-you-owe-me-dude, and now I feel like I do. He designed his own album artwork, which is pretty incredible, don’t you think? You guys need to follow him on for everything you could possibly need to know about this super cool artist and now, new friend. So, I introduce to you- your new favorite mixtape:

01. Seeing Suge – Breaking • This is one of my favourite collabs this year. Blends the worlds of Star Slinger, Emay, and Blackbird Blackbird perfectly.
02. Coming Soon – Manners & Education • I’ve loved these guys for years. More people need to be exposed to their fantasticness.
03. Rob Roy – Velvet Rope Blue • Rob and I were going to work with each other a while ago but we never got around to it. I can’t wait to see the day when it actually happens.
04. Prozzäk – Don’t Love Me That Way • This was one of my first favourite bands. Its kind of a joke, but not at the same time. Faux English accent, cartoon band members, every song follows Simon’s failed relationships, and Dope pop songs.
05. Das Racist - luv it mayne • Fat Tony kills his verse. That hook is infectious. This is one of the tracks I currently have on repeat.
06. Regina Spektor – Consequence of Sounds • I love Ms. Spektor’s wonderful ability to make huge dynamic sounds with just her body, a piano, and the occasional drumstick & chair.
07. Childish Gambino – Untouchable • Just listen to him, he’ll tell you everything you need to know.
08. Dirty Projectors – My Offwhite Flag • I listened to this song on repeat while I was painting my room offwhite.
09. Anamanaguchi – My Skateboard Will Go On • This track reminds me of every good memory I have of playing video games with my cousin.
10. Micah P. Hinson – Tell Me It Ain’t So • The voice, the writing, the instrumentation. I love it all.
11. Ponytail – Beg Waves • Fun.
12. Wynton Marsalis – Supercapitalism • This is probably my favourite jazz song of all time.
