I heard Keepaway’s song ‘Yellow Wings’ while typing away at my computer until I heard the lovely prophetic words that sang, “I think I finally know what I want, I want to be two places at once” like they took the words from my mouth. Another track I really love is ‘Evil Lady’ because I still can’t make out what they’re saying, but I bet it’s something about girls being evil.

This Brooklyn-based group includes Matt Burakoff, Frank Lyon, and Nick Nauman, synthesizing the psychedellic with the modern, with comparisons drawn to.. Okay, okay, I’m not going to say it. They’re heavy on the drums, the loops, the electro-pop, the layers- they’ve pretty much covered all the bases for everything you could ever want in a debut EP (entitled Baby Style) put out by the very wonderful Lefse Records.
