Hi friends, Nada here- I need your help. So as I’ve mentioned, I’ve been riding around in a pretty sweet ride called Skeletal Lightning. I’ve been borrowing my friend’s car while he’s working in Africa. Here’s the thing, last night the car died on the freeway- it made a grand exit off the 405 S, somewhere in Huntington en route back to San Diego. The whole thing was pretty nuts, I ended up having to tow it back to San Diego and now it’s sadly parked, and lifeless outside of my house.
Skeletal is not just a car, it’s apart of a greater community of cyclists in San Diego. The Skeletal Lightning San Diego bike crew is made up of over a dozen, largely fixed gear bikers that have an unhealthy amount of pride for their crew and bicycles. So much so that they’ve tagged Skeletal everywhere- on sidewalks, tattooed on their arms, and they’ve got a growing following at the San Diego Critical Mass rides. They’re a friendly, inclusive group rooted in the Invisible Children community and beyond. This car is their mascot, it is the way they can reach the freeways of the greater part of Southern California to spread the love.
This car can be fixed before David gets home but it needs. your. love. We are trying to raise $1200 for repairs. Please help us.

Oh and get this- if you donate $20 or more, I will make you a personalized digital mixtape. How sweet is that? If you donate $50 or more and live in the San Diego area, I will take you on a Skeletal Lightning tour of San Diego, we’ll go for burritos and cruise. So help a girl out, and hey- hit me up either way and tell me your thoughts about our campaign, bikes, music, skulls- anything really. I want to hear from you!
