I love when my friend Andrea (N.) sends me music because it always rules. This band is called Saintseneca, from Columbus Ohio and their sound is along the same vein as many other foot stomping, people-having, instrument heavy folk music that has been emerging out of basements and living rooms everywhere lately. There is something about the communal aspect of being apart of these spontaneous performances that can never be duplicated on a record. Maybe it’s the smell of it, or the orchestral atmosphere of too many bodies playing too many things. I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of it. Anyway, enjoy!
