I can be a wolf

Can we talk about this? Of course. I’ve been pretty observant of what’s out there- and it’s getting out of hand. Either that, or my understanding of what art is doesn’t match up with the current trend. Take for example ‘ ‘I Can Be A Frog’ with the animal noise accompaniment of Karen O- the reigning queen of Wild Things, or to be more exact- the woman half-responsible for the reawakening of the children in all of us. But are we regressing, or reflecting?
Animal noises in songs are cute, but I fear that with all those sorts of imaginative pieces floating out there that real music gets lost along the way. This song is, adorable but it this whole animal-monster-kid’s choir business is getting ridiculous. I feel like Spike Jonze is the wizard behind the curtain operating the smoke machine. Maybe it’s just novelty music and it will wear out, all I’m sayin is that I really hope bedazzlers don’t make a comeback.
