Introducing: Ross (the vegan chef)
Ross couldn’t play a note to save his life, but he is an avid appreciator of the kitschy sounds of the banjo, tambourines, and harmonicas. You know, for all the mentions my friend Ross gets, he should start pulling his weight around here. Ross is the daily friend- those are rare. Daily as in- I see him at least once everyday. He just shows up at my house, he’ll be making food in my kitchen and doesn’t even ask anymore. He doesn’t clean up afterwards either. Ross is a master chef- I don’t even know if that’s a gross exaggeration, but I’m going with it. He’s got a respect and understanding of food that I will never have. He also makes really good salsa. Other ‘likes’ include beer, David Cross, and Coast to Coast.
Anyhow, Ross- I’d like you to meet . He is all things folk. There’s an urgency in every Langhorne Slim- like he’s about to jump out of his seat and his eyes will widen and knuckles will bleed but he’ll keep playing on. But even with his slower jams he asks to ‘put your dancin’ shoes on’ so you know you’re in good company. He is a party. Ross, you can make vegan dishes for the Langhorne party.
